The GV Pride Hub will open approximately 2-3 days per week (Thu – Sat) and provide opportunities for LGBTIQA+ people to come together for social connection; develop skills in customer service, hosting events, facilitating regular art and queer culture programs and peer support groups; offer leadership programs and mentoring, & more. Pride Merchandise and pre-loved quality goods will be on sale including LGBTQIA+ books, rainbow items and flags as well as gender-affirming shoes & clothing, and personal hygiene items. The GV Pride Hub will also have health promotion items and resources available.
The program space will be available for use by community groups and individuals to run forums, rehearsals and more. The GV Pride Hub will be headquarters for OUTintheOPEN Festival, TAG and our members/volunteers. Monthly Silver Rainbows Coffee and Conversations meetings for LGBTIQA+ seniors 55yrs+ will occur on-site too. Got other ideas? Get in touch!
