Goulburn Valley Pride Inc. Small Grants Program

This year, we will have 2 small grants rounds giving $300 per round. This is a very important method to fund individuals and small groups that do not necessarily have DGR status, but are contributing to the wellbeing, visibility and connection of LGBTIQA+ locals. Each small grant is worth up to $300.

    Deadlines:
First round – February 28 (with project to be completed by June 30)
Second round – August 30 (with project to be completed by December 30)

Applications can be made via the form below.

We will endeavour to process and access applications within 7 days of each round.

Applications will only be considered at the beginning of each grant round (i.e. before Feb 28 and Aug 30). Applications may be considered in between rounds in exceptional circumstances – please indicate any urgency or deadlines in your application.

This small grants program aims to support LGBTIQA+ individuals and or organisations and communities who would otherwise be limited by the constraints of other funding programs. It is intended directly or indirectly to assist, involve and benefit LGBTIQA+ members and promote positive social outcomes and mental health in the community.

We welcome applications that are particularly creative and innovative, and those that are put forward by individuals and organisations that have not received small grant funding in the previous 2 years.

We also look for projects that work as partnerships between individuals and organisations.

For selected expressions of interest for the GV Pride Inc. Small Grant Round (up to $300) we invite a simple two-page application. All applications are assessed by a panel that includes an independent external specialist, to ensure we fund the best proposals.

Successful applicants enter an agreement with GV Pride Inc. to deliver their project.

Please note, funds are not available for for-profit organisations. GV Pride Inc. only funds projects benefiting LGBTIQA+ people in Greater Shepparton.

Final Report: After the completion of the project, each grantee must complete a 1-page end-of-project summary and expense report within 30 days of the completion of the project.

We encourage you to document your project and submit photographs that we can utilise in future promotional material. Please ensure that you have permission from all participants who appear in photographs or videos in order for them to be published.
