May 10th, 2012NewsIDAHO = International Day Against HOmophobia & transphobia
Please join us between 10.00am & 4.00pm in the Maude Street Mall (Shepparton).
Thursday17 May is International Day Against HOmophobia & transphobia (IDAHO).
To celebrate diversity and raise awareness of homophobia’s continued existence within society (and thus aid in its eradication) UnitingCare Cutting Edge’s “Diversity Project” is making some noise.
Visit us on the stage in the mall – post your message of love & support for your GLBTIQ loved ones, family members & friends using one of our colourful postcards – say “homophobia is NOT okay”.
Be entertained by local musicians and grab some info about local programs and initiatives available for the GLBTIQA community in-and-around Greater Shepparton. Buy some fundraising merchandise too!
Want to perform on the stage? Looking for more info? Contact Damien on 0437 134 625 or Jim/Jamie Lea on 03 5821 5488
